A few weeks ago, while I was watching television, the cameras were on fellow citizens who were being interviewed by news reporters regarding their responce to the closures approaching entertainment locations due to covid19. I didn’t seem to easily get my mind off the college students who responded on their determination to find the last open club in order to not miss out on getting as drunk as possible before it was too late.
You see, I am surrounded by people who are beyond devastated for no longer having access to a church, a pastor, a genuine congregation, spiritual guidance and that sense of life giving factor that is all that keeps them going! So watching people so despearate to go wild, stock up on condoms and selfishly perpretrate pathetic conduct, while others are seeking the face of God in times like these is interesting to me!
2 Chronicles 7:14 says: “If the people who call upon my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land”.
If you know, beyond a shadow of doubt, that Christ is still King, then you know that his Holy Word is his promise because a Kings word IS his promise! I count on God’s comfort only to the extent of my own faithfulness to Him!

In difficult times, how faithful are you? When it comes to a wake up call like times such as these bring, do you want to embrace it as such and move forward?
If you are here, chances are you are currently stuck on the “what if’s, what now and what’s next”. In fact, the reason I’m here is because there there is so much talk out there, that I have listened to enough of it to realize everyone else is just as clueless as me. So much talk and some of it is irrelevant, some are theories, some are false, some are rumors, some true and others just fear mongering.
There came a time for me to choose one reliable resourse to stay informed once every couple days and shut everything else off. I decided instead to start listenting to what God has to say and live with every intention of following his word in order to embrace his promises with confidence!
If this invisible war has inclined your heart to repair your flesh’s desires and are in need of divine comfort to hold on to while this passes (because it will pass), don’t miss these 12 comforting Bible verses pulled straight from scripture!
