The following DIY Tropical Stovetop Potpourri is simple and quick to make. It will have your home smelling like paradise in no time!

What you need:

Pineapple in it’s own juice (make sure it doesn’t say syrup).
Coconut extract
Orange
Mandarin

Strawberries
Lemons

Slice the items and place it in a pot

Add water until it reaches the top of the contents
Add 1 tbs of Coconut extract
Place on low heat and let it simmer for hours

When is the ideal time to use this DIY fragrance?

Not on a daily basis. At least for me. I find it highly appealing to use when I am in the mood for cleaning. When I leave my house clean, I like a nice fragrance to enhance the fresh environment.

It is also good for when you don’t even feel like cleaning to begin with, but smelling something pretty may turn on your cleaning mode!😉

Another cool idea is for when you will be having guests over! I love walking into a home, a store or office with a pretty smell. It’s just so inviting!

Last time I made this DIY fragrance, I set it on the stove on low and went out for a 20 minute walk. Upon walking in…Mmmm. It smelled like paradise!

Best of all, the smell lasts for hours even after you’ve turned the heat off!
