I will never forget the day I came across a video filmed by Kristina Kuzmic where she asked a few women to share some of the negative things they repeatedly say to themselves on a daily basis.

Here are some of their responses:

“Such a messy pig”
“Just not a good enough Mother”
“You’re never gonna loose the weight”

These woman had come to embody these words to a point where they literally believed these things about themselves. It became part their days, their life, and their person.

The degree of power that words have is massive as it is. When you say things to yourself, it goes a really long way, as those words impregnate your subconscious mind and influences your behavior, self image and the flow of your overall day.

What if in order to prevent negative self-thoughts, you decided every morning to set the tone of your day saying nice things to yourself?

Do you know to what extent positive affirmations can impact your daily life?

First off, lets address what an affirmation is.

“An affirmation is really anything you say or think. A lot of what we normally say and think is quite negative and doesn’t create good experiences for us. We have to retrain our thinking and speaking into positive patterns if we want to change our lives.”– Louise Hay

“You’re doing your best”
“You’re enough. You’re good”
“You can do it”
“You are a good girl. You love people and you’re working everyday to get better”
